300 Tdi Stage 2 Crate Engine

Complete strip down and cleaning of all components.

Crankshaft is measured/polished or if out of specification, Re-Ground and polished to the next size.

All con rods are checked for straight and small end bush size, if needed, new bushes fitted and honed to size.

Con rod Big end housing sized checked/Corrected, as necessary.

The cylinder block is Re-bored/Honed/new cam bearings fitted and sized/skimmed flat/hot washed/painted and new stainless core plugs fitted.

The oil pump front cover is stripped and inspected for damage and measured.

If measurements are within tolerance the unit is rebuilt with new internals.

If it has internal damage or does not measure within tolerance it is replaced.

All alloy components are vapour blasted and thoroughly cleaned.

Depending on your order, a new AMC cylinder head or Re-built cylinder head is used in the build.

All valves and guides/springs/collets/retainers and valve stem seals are replaced.

The rocker assembly is inspected and replaced as necessary.

A uprated rear seal is used on the rear of the Crankshaft.

All new gaskets and seals.

Head gasket and bolts are OE Specification.

A new camshaft is fitted.

New pistons/Crank bearings are installed.

The front cover has a new bearing fitted or is replaced, as necessary.

The cam belt kit is OE Dayco.

All injection equipment is Re-built to a very high standard.

Depending on the specification of the order a new standard turbo or a VVT unit is fitted from Turbo Technics.

The Engine is DTI Timed up before the cylinder head is fitted to give optimal performance.

The turn key engine is test run for 4 hours and oil pressure/Turbo boost and fueling checked and adjusted as necessary.
